An aftershock measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale hit off the coast of the province of
Aceh, Indonesia, on Febrary 25th at 2:45 p.m. local time.
The epicenter was 314 kilometers southwest of Banda Aceh, the capital of Aceh; the quake was hardly felt by the residents of the city.
There were no reports of injuries of damage.
Numerous aftershocks have shook the Aech province since the 9.0 quake hit on December 26, 2004.
