The death toll for the Java quake and tsunami is now at 305, with another 431 injured, 115 reported as missing, and 35,000 displaced.
Most of the deaths are believed to have been caused by the tsunami, which caused waves up to 10 feet high.
The tsunami was caused by a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that was centered 220 miles south of Jakarta, in the Indian Ocean.
